Art has always been apart of Alannah's essential nature. Alannah Vincent is a native of Dothan Alabama. She found her first incursion into the art world through historic downtown Dothan and the experience of Alabama's Mural City. Inspired by the world around her, Vincent's work is a gape at her experiences and reflection. Acrylic is the lead in her mixed- media images along with using multiple mediums from spray paint, watercolor, oil paint, chalk, pencil, pastel to non-traditional mediums like candle wax and tea. After being recognized nationally as a 2nd place winner in Frito Lays Create to Celebrate Black History Month Contest in 2013 and solo show in Dothan, Alannah Vincent looks to be persistent in her art endeavors. Vincent earned a Bachelors degree in Architecture from Tuskegee University and a Masters in Landscape at Auburn University.
